The solid, cast bronze marker measures 11 inches wide by 8 1/2 inches tall and is 5/16″ thick. It weighs approximately eight pounds. It can be easily displayed within the home, attached to the exterior, or mounted on a bronze garden stake.
The marker should not obscure significant architectural features of the home.
The marker should be attached carefully to prevent damage to historic fabric; fittings should penetrate mortar joints rather than brick or stone. Holes drilled should be reversible, such as by filling with wood putty or mortar, if the marker is ever removed.
